Braun Multiquick 3 K650 Kitchen Machine 600 Watt

If you need a good, high quality food processor that is not as expensive as some of the more well known brands, then look no further than the Braun Multiquick 3 K650 Kitchen Machine 600 Watt food processor. This small appliance is regularly cheaper than the popular Cuisnart brand comparable food processors.

Key Features

The 600 watt motor on this model is surprisingly powerful and incredibly quiet. If you have ever used one of those really loud food processors, then you will be pleasantly surprised by the sound this one makes. It has 14 different speeds for you to choose from, as well as a soft pulse option. The controls are push-button, which is super easy to use.

An interesting feature you will find on this Braun food processor is the dual safety lock. This ensures that you do not have any food leaking or spilling out of the work bowl while the unit is on. With the lock, the bowl can only be opened when the food processor is not on.

The work bowl that comes with this food processor has a capacity of 9 cups. Other items included with the Braun Multiquick kitchen Machine include:

  • universal chopping blade – use to blend, mix, puree and chop.
  • dough kneading hook – can knead up to 3 pounds of dough!
  • cream attachment – for recipes where whipping is required.
  • coarse grater
  • fine shredder
  • cheese grater
  • fine slicer
  • citrus press
  • citrus juicer

All of the included attachments and bowls are completely dishwasher safe, which makes your cleanup a breeze.

Pros & Cons

The Braun food processor is a lot smaller than the more popular Cuisinart brand, which is good news for people with limited counter space. It is also a very lightweight machine. Of course, this can lead to some noise due to the machine rocking on the counter when you are using the higher speeds.

If you are planning on using this unit to knead a lot of bread dough, then this one is not your best option. In fact, the dough hook on a Kitchen Aid is far superior to this kneading hook. It works okay, but just not as well as other brands.

When using the food processor for slicing, you will likely notice that there is a gap between the blade and the lid. This will cause you to not be able to reach all of the food that you want to slice. It will leave about 1/8th of an inch thick piece of the food on top.
